The Stipula 22 fountain pen, in its early version, was made in plain-shaded colors, and featured a small titanium nib. In fact, the Titanium's atomic numer is 22.
It's a regular size pen (it means, smaller than normal piston filled pens), therefore more practical and handleable. Its easiness in use and its lightness allow you to try a piston filled fountain pen even if you just began to write with ink!
Here are the available colors:
Ivory: white with translucent cream veins
Night Blue: marbled black and blue, with light blue accents
Black: plain classic black
Turtle: marbled brown with black and amber accents
The pen is proposed with steel nib, available as F, M, and Stub 1.1; but also as V-FLEX unique size, a calligraphic nib with an increased cut and very high flexibility of stroke. The V-Flex nib starts from a F/M with light pressure, to arrive at stub just weighing your hand.
Otherwise, there is the T-FLEX titanium nib, that gives great performance in terms of accuracy, flexibility and lightness, allows a perfect writing. It's a calligraphic nib as well, with F/M tip, and meets whatever a pressure.
Or, also the classic 14 Kt gold nib, with a very wide choice of grades: starting from UF (UltraFine) and EF (ExtraFine), to F, M, B, and to 0.9 Stub and 1.1 Stub.
Piston filling system and a high-capacity transparent ink reservoir, to permit the checking of the ink level.
Grip, clip and rings are made in chromed metal; the marbled colors have also a metal band at the cap top, where the Stipula leaf is set. Ivory and black, instead, have a one-piece cap.
