The Momento Magico model comes in the iconic black and orange resin in a numbered but not limited series.
It has been named DNA because it originates from the roots and territory of Leonardo Officina Italiana: orange like the incandescent lava of Vesuvius, and black like the earth surrounding it.
Like the other Momento Magico, DNA has a large capacity piston filler (1.5 ml) and a transparent fumé window to check the ink level.
The cap is decorated with a new central band, three-dimensional pantograph-engraved, that reproduces the curvilinear designs of Roman amphora handles. After all, just as amphorae contained precious liquids, the pen also contains ink; a liquid that transforms thoughts into stories and tales, notes into everyday life.
The clip is in vintage style with a rotating ball.
The Momento Magico DNA is available both with golden finish and palladium finish.
Nibs:
The DNA is available in several versions:
- with steel nib and Abs feeder;
- or with 14Kt gold nib and black ebonite feeder.
Elastic nibs:
Both steel and 14Kt gold nibs are made as normal nibs (EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1) and also as elastic nibs (EF the gold one, EF or F the steel one)
Like the other Momento Magico, also DNA is completely disassembleable, due to a special steel tool that is sold separately - that allows you to unscrew the bottom, the barrel, the piston, the nib group.
