Hand painted fountain pen, devoted to Napoleone
Alessandro Salami started working on micro-drawing approximatively ten years ago, developing an artistic pathway that brought him to experience several techniques and materials, and a passion for painting over pens.
The Harmony pen is aerograph painted all over cap and body of a Parker Premium fountain pen. Each pen is hand painted, and signed by the artist in an edge of the cap.
Fountain pen with a XIX Century's mood, with black background like that period portaits; representing the wellknown Napoleon's portrait made by Jacques Louis David in 1813.
On the back of the cap, the imperial crown is decorated 3 Swarovski crystals.
The painter Salami reproduced the famous Napoleon portrait over the barrel, using a kind of impressionist style.
The black background enphasizes the man's features and gaze, reproduced with great mastery even on so small surgaces.
Only non-toxic, acrylic colours have been used, and the process is completely hand made, even the final polish protective coating.
Cartidge/converter filling system.
Steel nib, with M tip.
Chromed trims.
The pen comes in a precious brown leather box, with lock and key.
