Series 88 fountain pen, with a classic shape and rounded ends, in a refined and precious version.
Made from the most traditional of materials: ebonite, used for fountain pens since the early 1900s; obtained from a mixture of natural rubber and mineral and organic substances, it has gradually been replaced by cheaper and more colourful plastics.
The Aurora 88 Yellow Ebonite fountain pen combines classic shapes with the antique charm of this striped ebonite, with a deep brown background and yellow veins. Gold plated finishing.
A new version, 88 Blue Ebonite fountain pen, was recently added to this collection: blue and black striped ebonite, and chromed trims.
Nib: 18 Kt gold, available as EF, F, M, B
Filling system: piston, with transparent ink window.
At the cap top, an ebonite half-sphere shows the spiral striation of the material.
The Aurora 88 Yellow Ebonite pen is packed in an elegant eco-leather case, with a complimentary bottle of sepia-coloured ink.
The Aurora 88 Blue Ebonite pen features the same packege, but the ink is deep blue.
