The Edelstein Golden Lapis ink has been voted the ink colour of the year 2024 by Pelikan fans. The ink is a splendid shade of blue, illuminated by golden highlights; a rich, bright colour that takes on different nuances depending on the viewing angle, creating fascinating and unique effects.
The Pelikan 200 Golden Lapis pen is a Classic series fountain pen, medium size (closed length mm. 125, diameter mm. 14)
The translucent blue resin is enriched with an extraordinary gold dust effect that makes it sparkle when exposed to light, with different intensities depending on the viewing angle.
If the bottle is shaken before filling, the golden particles in the ink will give the writing an ever-changing and unique expression of colour.
Its finishes are made of shiny golden metal, like the clip, with the unmistakable shape of a pelican.

Piston filling system. As all the Classics, it features the differentiated piston filling mechanism. Introduced by Pelikan in 1929, it causes the spindle inside the fountain pen to turn quicker than the end piece of the barrel, with the help of two different threads.
The Pelikan 200 Golden Lapis is a Special Edition: it means it's not limited or numbered, but produced for a limited period of time, therefore destined to finish quickly.
It comes either in a regular box or in a SET package that includes a bottle of Edelstein Golden Lapis ink.
