CARAN D'ACHE
The Caran d’Ache name, that in Russian means "pencil", was the signature of a famous French caricaturist at Belle Epoque time; when Arnold Schweitzer in 1924 founded his company of fine art products, named it Caran d'Ache in his honour.
The company soon became famous, thanks to quality and beauty of its creations, both in fine arts and writing instruments.
Still now, it's a symbol of Swiss technical excellence, precision, reliability and innovation; committed in environmental protection and in safety rules.
Caran d'Ache conceives, develops and produces all its products in its workshops in Geneva, assuring very high quality levels and the greatest expertise in technical after-sale service.
