The new Pelikan 805 Ocean Swirl is a Special Edition (not limited, but produced for a limited time only) that stands out for its unique material providing a truly spectacular look and appearance of each Ocean Swirl pen.
Exposure to light further enhances and adds sparkle and depth which vary in intensity, just like in the deep sea, with alternate bright and dark spots. Each writing instrument is truly unique.
The rings and the clip are palladium plated. The clip is slightly springy and shows its famous, stylized pelican's beak shape.
18 Kt white gold nib, tested by hand. Available in EF, F, M, B.
Piston filling system.
All the Souverän 800 feature the differentiated piston filling mechanism. Introduced by Pelikan in 1929, it causes the spindle inside the fountain pen to turn quicker than the end piece of the barrel, with the help of two different threads.
